Power/Renewables/Energy Senior Recruitment Consultant

Chiswick, UK. Basic £65K plus car allowance. Helping our client develop a power, energy and renewable division.

Summary

The purpose of the energy senior recruitment consultant is to develop a business pipeline for this global staffing agency who focus on the oil and gas, energy and construction sectors.

The Client

Our client are a global recruitment business who are part of the one of the world`s largest engineering and infrastructure companies.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • To business develop within the power, energy and renewable energy sector with regard staffing requirements of client companies.
  • To attend client meetings and presentations building collaborative relationships.
  • To be aware when major potential clients are opening up and renewing their tender process.
  • To attend industry networking events.
  • Responsible for following the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Maintain the recruitment system so that it accurately reflects the status of all selection activity.
  • Conduct direct candidate sourcing and screening, qualify suitable candidates for specific client vacancies.
  • Facilitate the interview and selection process.
  • Provide a high level of candidate care by ensuring best practice selection methods are followed and frequent communication is deployed (e.g. debriefing candidates and selling roles).

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Experience of working within power, energy or renewable recruitment and have a track record of success in this sector.
  • Expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies (e.g. web sourcing, networking, advertising, head hunting and database searching).
  • Experience of managing candidates through the full end to end recruitment process.
  • Experience of behavioural/ competency based interviewing.
  • Experience in the use of recruitment databases.
  • Awareness of employment legislation.
  • Ability to work to and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Proven ability to organise and prioritise workload.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage changing situations.
  • Ability to pick things up quickly.
  • Ability to be assertive with members of staff when necessary.

The Package

Basic salary to £65K plus annual bonus plus flexible working conditions. Hours are 845am-515pm Monday-Thursday with an earlier finish on a Friday.
