Senior Technical Recruitment Consultant

West End, London, UK. Basic £50K OTE £95K. A niche property recruitment company requires experienced high achievers to join their London team.


The purpose of the technical recruitment consultant is to be directly involved in the recruitment of Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers acting for a number of clients which include; global and regional property and construction consultancies, property companies, developers, corporates, funds, investment managers and public sector organisations.

The Client

Our client are a rapidly growing niche property recruitment consultancy with offices in London, Bristol and Leeds.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for following the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Developing a sourcing strategy for each role worked on. For example, headhunting, social media, database searches.
  • Maintain the recruitment system so that it accurately reflects the status of all selection activity.
  • Conduct direct candidate sourcing and screening, qualify suitable candidates.
  • Facilitate the interview and selection process.
  • Provide a high level of candidate care by ensuring best practice selection methods are followed and frequent communication is deployed (e.g. debriefing candidates and selling roles).
  • Attend client meetings and industry networking events.
  • Entertain clients and candidates as and when required.
  • Make business development calls with new and lapsed clients.
  • Constantly aim to provide the highest possible service to both candidates and client companies.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Experience of working within real estate/property recruitment with a proven track record of success.
  • Expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies (e.g. web sourcing, networking, advertising, headhunting and database searching).
  • Experience managing candidates through the full end to end recruitment process.
  • Experience in the use of recruitment databases.
  • Ability to work to and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Proven ability to organise and prioritise workload.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage changing situations.
  • Ability to pick things up quickly.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Personable.

A market leading package includes an excellent basic salary and commission paid at 25% on all monthly billings above £15K per month.
