Working as a Account/ business development manager. Responsible for winning recruitment business within the engineering sector.
Client Details
Our client is the recruitment arm of a multinational engineering and construction company headquartered in the US. They are seeking an experienced account manager/business development manager with a background in staffing who understands the professional engineering sector.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Arranging and attending client meetings in order to develop business opportunities.
- Cold calling new and lapsed clients in order to win business.
- Attending industry networking events.
- Working to and achieving budgeted targets.
- Placing candidates such as validation and commissioning engineers into both contract and direct hire positions.
- Representing the corporation in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Plan and organise weekly/monthly itinerary.
- May need to travel to attend business meetings from time to time.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience of working in the staffing sector within the professional engineering sector.
- A thorough understanding of contract and direct hire staffing.
- Able to demonstrate sales and business development success within the staffing industry.
- Excellent written skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate with audiences at a senior stakeholder level.
- A team player who is self-motivated and driven.
- Able to work independently and unsupervised.
