Account / Business Development Manager
Houston, USA. $90K plus commission.
Summary
Working as a account/ business development manager. Responsible for winning recruitment business within the sector of engineering, manufacturing and automotive.
Client Details
Our client are a global recruitment business who focus on the specialisms of engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing and automotive recruitment. They are seeking an experienced recruiter in one of these sectors who is excellent at business development.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Arranging and attending client meetings in order to develop business opportunities.
- Cold calling new and lapsed clients in order to win business.
- Work closely with the bids and tenders team as and when PSL agreements are coming up for renewal.
- Attending industry networking events.
- Working to and achieving budgeted sales targets.
- Representing the corporation in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Plan and organise weekly/monthly itinerary.
- May need to travel to attend business meetings from time to time.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience of working in the recruitment industry within a technical sector such as engineering, manufacturing or automotive
- A thorough understanding of contract/temporary recruitment
- Able to demonstrate sales and business development success within engineering, manufacturing or automotive recruitment.
- Excellent written skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate with audiences at a senior stakeholder level.
- A team player who is self-motivated and driven.
