Business Development Manager – Energy Recruitment

London, UK. £60K plus commission.

Client Details

Our client is a global recruitment business who focus on the construction, infrastructure, energy, power and renewables sectors. They are searching for a business development executive with a solid background in recruitment sales within the sectors of oil and gas, nuclear or energy.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Arranging and attending client meetings within the energy sector.
  • Work closely with the bids and tenders team as and when PSL agreements are coming up for renewal.
  • Attending industry networking events.
  • Working to and achieving budgeted sales targets.
  • Representing the corporation in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  • Plan and organise weekly/monthly itinerary.
  • May need to travel to attend business meetings from time to time.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working within the UK recruitment sector.
  • Experience of energy, engineering, or other relevant technical industry within the recruitment industry.
  • Business development focused.
  • Able to demonstrate sales and business development success in the recruitment industry.
  • Excellent written skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate with audiences at a senior stakeholder level.
  • A team player who is self-motivated and driven.
