Senior Recruitment Consultant – Engineering

Perth, Australia. $110K plus commission.

The Client

Our client is a global recruitment business who focus on engineering, construction, infrastructure, energy, power and renewables sectors. They are part of a Fortune 500 business listed on the US Stock Exchange with a global office network. They are searching for an experienced senior recruiter to join the established team in Perth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Arranging candidate interviews and placing candidates into contract and permanent positions.
  • Generating new candidates through e-mails, advertising, cold calls, field presence, and leads (and any other pertinent sourcing techniques.).
  • Mining internal and external databases for qualified candidates. Contributing to the candidate pipeline database.
  • Providing timely and innovative recruiting results and solutions to customers.
  • Evaluating candidates, checking references, extending and closing offers.
  • Attending large scale recruitment events (career days, job fairs, etc.).
  • Receiving and carrying out directions and priorities from the Regional Manager and/or Recruiting Manager.
  • Maintaining current recruitment tools and postings of all external job orders (e.g., Internet resources).
  • Attending client virtual and in person meetings as and when required.
  • Ensure all IT systems are kept up to date.
  • Delivering weekly and monthly updates to key clients.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Recruitment experience, ideally gained within the oil and gas, construction or engineering sector.
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong computer skills. Must be proficient in Word and Excel, and be able to learn new programs.
  • The ability to manage multiple job order requirements.
  • The ability to both take direction and work independently.
  • Excellent local area knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team.

The Package

Excellent basic salary plus commission. Hybrid Working
